RX battery removal
« on: February 19, 2013, 09:13:00 PM »
I'm trying to remove a old Rx battery from my Aquila, which is fixed onto the thin fiber-glass fuselage with bathroom sealant, I cant just pull it off because I'll break it. So should I try melting the sealant or will that damage the fiber-glass.

Don't know if you have access, try using thread or thin string to see -saw through the sealant.

or

Sharpen the edge of an old credit card (or similar) to slip through between the batt and chassis.

Try twisting it if you can get a grip on it, or cut the leads off and use as ballast lol!
