Title: Les Adam
Post by: bandit on July 19, 2019, 03:18:30 PM
It is with great sadness that I have to announce the passing of Les Adam on Saturday 13th July.  Most of you will be aware of Lesís struggle with Parkinsonís Disease  over the past twenty odd years, but in the end ironically, he died of a brain tumour.  Throughout the trials of having this debilitating disease, and the sudden loss of his wife last year, Les maintained a stoical outlook to life, his sharp wit and humour never very far from the surface.  RIP Les.

His funeral will be held at the Baldarroch Crematorium on Friday 26th July at 11.30am.

Gutted, we had a talk at the Heli Nats. He was a character and always made comment with a witty glint in his eye.

Sad news indeed, he had a lot to contend with but he never seemed to be down in the dumps, he just got on with life as best he could. R.I.P.

I too was chatting to him at the Helinats and he was the same Les, dry sense of humour and a pleasure to talk to. Such a shock to hear of his passing.
