Junior 60
« on: December 22, 2019, 05:13:27 PM »
Phil had a couple flights of his Junior 60 on his own today. He flew it really well and it looked great in the air esp with the sun behind it shining thro the transparent yellow covering. I think I might need to get a Ben Buckle plane and join the slow flyers 👍

Yes Ian it was a grand sight, and it was a perfect day to fly it, no wind. What is this, Ian (speed freak) Forrest joining the slow flyers,  :o

I have a ben buckle long cabin kit that I intend to reduce the wing dihedral and give it ailerons... 88 inch wing span...well that's the plan.

Good idea Paul. Just run it up to full power with a Ben B plane right behind it! 🤣

Alan, I thought you might have gone for the Falcon, a shade larger for more easily spotting in the air (remember to change your glasses) as it perambulates about the sky. There is a build thread here on this site but not the Majestic Major or the Long Cabin,

https://www.modelflying.co.uk/forums/postings.asp?th=67452

and please use electric not one of your noisy, smelly and oily Lasers. or as Paul has suggested strap the jet he mentions onto its back and watch it disintegrate in mid air as the speed increases
