Anyone have a contact in the Montrose club. There are some developments on the old airfield they need to be made aware of.

Cheers
Ian

Try Gus Coombe, he is on facebook and runs the Friends of Montrose Model Aircraft Club Facebook group.

Thanks for the contact, have sent a message.

There's plans for an industrial site on the disused part of the airfield with possible heliport to service wind farms offshore. They are also looking to setup a drone testing area and have restricted airspace, offshore just now, 12 miles out, from Arbroath to Inverbervie, possibly up to 2000ft. They are just starting consultation but think they can get it through in a few weeks to start in Sept, these things normally take years!
