Well, Alan Carnegie, Al Watt, Andy Murray and myself were at the field eagerly casting eyes skyward and ears quivering with anticipation, at last we heard the glorious sound of a Merlin engine and a small dot appeared and which remained small as it flew on, ever so slightly disappointing. 😒
